Viking Mode was born from the vision of our All-Fathers — two men with a deep, lifelong affinity for Norse culture, Viking lore, and the fierce beauty of the old world. Their passion ran so deep that they brought it to life twice over, opening two immersive venues: one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.
These halls weren’t just restaurants or bars — they were tributes. Living homages to Viking history, mythology, craftsmanship, and hospitality. Every detail, from the food to the storytelling, was crafted to give guests a service experience shaped by honour, warmth, and the spirit of the longhouse.
To truly set the scene, our founders showed the wisdom of Odin himself. They began sourcing specialised goods from skilled merchants far and wide — drinking horns, forged blades, carved tableware, jewellery, ceremonial pieces, and artefacts inspired by Norse traditions.
What began as a way to deepen the guest experience quickly grew into a treasure hoard of its own… and from that hoard, Viking Mode was forged.
