Design & Symbolism

The cover features Mjølner, the mighty hammer of Thor, God of Thunder and namesake of the Mjølner restaurants. Forged by the dwarf brothers Sindri and Brokkr, Mjølner is a weapon of immense power, enchanted so that only those deemed worthy may lift it.

Intricate Celtic knotwork and the branches of Yggdrasil surround the face of Odin, All-Father and chief of the Aesir gods. The overall form echoes ancient pendants and amulets once worn for protection — a design steeped in myth, strength, and reverence.
